CONCEPTUAL ARTIST - PRINTMAKER
One Culture Under God (OCUG)
In 1970, I drove 9,600 miles and ate only at McDonalds for a whole month. This was my first conceptual art project. I wanted to show how much this country was losing it's regional uniquenesses. I took lots of photographs, kept a daily journal and made a series of prints called One Culture Under God. They should have been called One Culture Under God with Liberty and Hamburgers for All. Here are the prints.
